With over 18 years of experience in digital experience technology, content & commerce, solution architecture, software engineering, and AI, Dan has the breadth and depth of experience to understand client’s businesses and recommend the right technology solutions and provide an actionable plan.

Before founding DXP Catalyst Consulting in 2023, Dan spent the last 13 years at top digital agencies and global consultancies. His work spans a wide range of industries, with deep expertise in content management, digital commerce, and martech ecosystems.

Dan began his career as a software engineer working with applied machine learning to solve complex problems. Over nearly seven years, he built a strong technical foundation before transitioning into digital consulting and architecture.

At NorthPoint Digital (acquired by EY in 2015), Dan architected and built solutions on open-source CMS platforms like Drupal and WordPress serving major clients in the Boston and NYC markets including MIT sloan, UPenn, Guardian Life, and NY Times.

At EY, he helped launch and scale the firm’s digital commerce practice across North America. His technology focus areas included SAP Commerce (Hybris), Salesforce B2B Commerce (CloudCraze), and InsiteCommerce (Optimizely). He led platform assessments, solution architecture design and implementations for enterprise clients (Ingersoll Rand, Canadian National Railway, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and more), contributing to major digital transformation initiatives.

As Head of Technology at Blue Fountain Media, Dan guided the agency’s transition from mid-market to enterprise. He introduced new service offerings, overhauled delivery processes, and established strategic partnerships with Adobe, Sitecore, Optimizely, SAP, BigCommerce, and WP Engine. He led technical strategy and architecture design for key mid-market and enterprise clients and oversaw large-scale content and commerce implementations.

At Avanade (a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft), Dan supported the firm’s new digital agency business across North America. He played a strategic role in helping Fortunate 500 clients (including ETS, Knights of Columbus, Merck, and more) evaluate and implement digital experiences on platforms including Adobe Experience Manager and Sitecore. 

Today, Dan leads DXP Catalyst Consulting with a mission to help organizations modernize their martech ecosystems and unlock the full potential of digital platforms. His enterprise services include platform strategy, solution architecture, and roadmap development – delivered with the pragmatism of an engineer and architecture and the insight of an experienced advisor.
