CRM, Marketing & Integration Advisory for a High-Growth Financial Services Company
The challenge
A rapidly growing financial services company was preparing to launch a new home equity financing solution designed to help homeowners access their home's equity without taking on additional monthly debt. With no CRM in place, the company needed a scalable platform to support two interconnected audiences: homeowners seeking financing, and financial advisors who served as trusted referral partners and a key driver of new business.
As the business expanded over the following two years, its go-to-market strategy became increasingly sophisticated. New advisor partnerships, digital marketing initiatives, webinars, API-based lead sources, and additional acquisition channels all needed to feed a centralized CRM. At the same time, the organization needed stronger sales automation, marketing enablement, and an integration strategy capable of supporting a growing ecosystem of applications and business systems.
What we did
Recommended HubSpot Sales Hub Pro as the organization's CRM foundation and led the design of its CRM strategy, including the underlying data model, contact architecture, lifecycle stages, lead routing, and automation to support both homeowners and advisor relationships across multiple acquisition channels.
As the company scaled, partnered with executive leadership to define a CRM and marketing roadmap aligned with business growth. Expanded the platform with advanced workflow automation, sales sequences, task automation, reporting, and lead management capabilities to support a growing sales organization. Following the addition of a dedicated marketing team, advised on the implementation of HubSpot Marketing Hub Pro, enabling email marketing, audience segmentation, lead scoring, marketing automation, and campaign execution.
As the company's technology ecosystem matured, partnered closely with the CIO on HubSpot advisory and integration architecture for a new enterprise integration layer. Helped define how inbound contacts from multiple acquisition channels should flow through the integration layer before being written to HubSpot, enabling channel-specific business logic, referral relationship management, and integrations with downstream applications and external APIs. Continued advising on how HubSpot should interact with the broader application and integration landscape as new capabilities were introduced.
More recently, supported the next phase of the integration strategy by helping define how sales pipeline data should synchronize between HubSpot and the company's proprietary fulfillment platform, providing greater visibility across the customer lifecycle while maintaining clear ownership between front-office CRM and back-office operational systems. At the same time, continued supporting the CMO on marketing enablement initiatives, including sales intelligence, audience segmentation, and CRM-powered advertising retargeting.
Outcome
Over a two-year engagement, helped the organization evolve from an early-stage CRM implementation into a connected commercial platform supporting sales, marketing, and operations.
Today, HubSpot serves as the central platform for lead management, advisor relationship management, sales engagement, and marketing activation, while an enterprise integration layer enables data to flow seamlessly between CRM, business applications, and the company's proprietary fulfillment platform. What began as a foundational CRM implementation has evolved into an ongoing strategic advisory partnership spanning CRM strategy, marketing enablement, integration architecture, and enterprise application design.
